Development Squad (invitation only)
Suitable for children that are 7-12 years old with some experience in gymnastics
This group is our entry Squad and training runs twice a week. The classes are designed to improve gymnastic body skills (flexibility, strengths and acrobatic elements), improve the level of handling of rhythmic gymnastics apparatuses (ball, hoop, rope and ribbon) and perform basic routines with and without music.
The aim of this squad group is to get the gymnasts ready to participate in friendly competitions for Beginners levels (BG Emerald and Ruby level) and therefore it is required that members achieve 90% of attendance.
We continuously monitor the progress of the gymnasts and those advanced ones will be invited to audition for our Bronze Squad, which is the entry squad to progress even further and attend higher level competitions.

Competitive Squad Groups (invitation only)
The Squad groups are divided in Bronze, Silver and Elite. Timetable varies depending on Squad group.
During the year the gymnasts are subject to regular assessment to evaluate their progress and they may be invited to auditioning for the higher Squad only if they have shown a great progress in their current group.
Bronze Squad: this advanced group is aimed to children that can achieve British Gymnastics – Rhythmic Level Sapphire and Bronze. This is a clear progression from our Development Squad and it is for those children that are showing potentials to develop further in rhythmic gymnastics.
The training is designed to prepare gymnasts for club competitions (judged on Basic Code of Point) through specific sessions based on basic ballet skills, body flexibility, strengths, the study of basic rhythmic gymnastics body elements and the handling of the 5 apparatus hoop, rope, ball, clubs, ribbon (depending on BG requirements) .
Gymnasts in Bronze Squad are required to attend 3 sessions per week and achieve 90% of presence throughout the year.
Silver Squad: this advanced group is aimed to children that can achieve British Gymnastics – Rhythmic Level Silver. This is a clear progression from our Bronze Squad and it is for those children that are showing potentials to develop further in rhythmic gymnastics.
The training is designed to prepare gymnasts for a more competitive level and participate to club competitions and British Gymnastics Grades. The intensive training sessions are focused on the improvements of ballet skills, strengths and flexibility, more complex rhythmic gymnastics body difficulties and the 5 apparatuses difficulties based on FIG Code of Point.
Gymnasts in Silver Squad are required to attend 4-5 sessions per week and achieve 90% of presence throughout the year.
Elite Squad: this advanced group is aimed to gymnasts that can achieve British Gymnastics – Rhythmic Level Gold and Diamonds. This is a clear progression from our Silver Squad and it is aimed only for those athletes that can achieve high level of gymnastics excellence.
The training is designed to prepare gymnasts to attend British Gymnastics Rhythmic National events and International competitions. The intensive training sessions are focused on the improvements of advanced ballet skills, strengths and flexibility, more complex rhythmic gymnastics body difficulties and the 5 apparatuses difficulties based on FIG Code of Point.
Gymnasts in Elite Squad are required to attend 5/6 sessions per week and achieve 90% of presence throughout the year.
